Abstract and full-text paper files must be prepared in .doc or .docx format and submitted using the file-naming convention specified below.
File naming format:
name_surname_presentationtype
S for Oral Presentation
P for Poster Presentation
Examples:
mesut_akyuz_S
mesut_akyuz_P
If more than one abstract or paper of the same presentation type is submitted by the same author, sequential numbers should be added to the end of the file name.
Examples:
mesut_akyuz_S1, mesut_akyuz_S2
mesut_akyuz_P1, mesut_akyuz_P2
The use of Turkish characters, spaces, and special symbols in file names is not recommended.
All submitted abstracts and papers will be evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process, in which the authors’ names, affiliations, and institutions will be kept confidential. The evaluation will be conducted by the Congress Scientific Committee and appointed expert reviewers. Review outcomes will be communicated to the authors as “accepted” or “rejected.”
For accepted submissions, acceptance letters indicating the presentation type (oral/poster) will be sent to the presenting authors via e-mail approximately one (1) week prior to the start of the congress.
There is no limit on the total number of submissions; however, an individual participant may serve as a presenting author for a maximum of two (2) papers. Submissions may be made in the following combinations:
One (1) oral presentation + one (1) poster presentation, or
Two (2) poster presentations
Submissions involving two (2) oral presentations by the same presenting author will not be accepted.
The Scientific Committee reserves the right to change the presentation format (oral/poster) of any submission when deemed necessary.
In cases where there is suspicion regarding lack of originality, plagiarism, or ethical misconduct, the Scientific Committee may request additional documentation or clarification from the authors.
In order for a submission to be considered for review, the presenting author must complete the congress registration by the final submission deadline. Submissions from authors who have not completed registration by this date will not be included in the evaluation process.
